Life has been nothing short of an amazing experience for me.  When I think of where I am today, I'm truly amazed at my blessings.  As the oldest of eight children, born to immigrant parents, raised in poverty, exposed to extreme tragedy at the age of six, and eventually becoming a high school drop out, my life could have turned out very differently.   I could have been just another statistic.  Instead, I was able to turn my life around and eventually graduated from college Cum Laude and near the top of my class.  I took all the negatives life handed me and used them to make myself a better, stronger person.  Today that strength and determination is part of the package I bring to the acting profession.  My experiences both negative and positive give me depth, strength, and vulnerability that helps me create powerful characters.  The human experience with all its turmoils, struggles, and hardships can be ugly at times, but there is also beauty in each of us and as an actor I try to bring that to every role I play.
